Countdown Begins for Murrumbateman's Biggest Annual Event

Tickets are on sale for the 44th Murrumbateman Field Days and it's the place to be this weekend, Saturday the 21st of October, 8am - 5pm & Sunday the 22nd of October, 8am - 4pm.

The agricultural-themed family event showcases Murrumbateman and the surrounding Yass region with a focus on farming products and services for large to hobby sized lots through to suburban backyard gardens.

You can also expect a huge range of exhibitors across the agriculture, construction, lifestyle, fashion, food and wine, beer and cider industries, and a wide variety of lunch options catered mostly by local community groups.

There will be impressive drone displays on the oval, an all new area for earth-moving machinery demonstrations, and the Yass Antique Farm Machinery Club with tractor pulls, workhorse displays, and even snake demonstrations.

Families will love the petting zoo and pony rides, and this years family entertainment; ABC Kids TV star George the Farmer and, Farmer Dave Graham & The Muttley Crew from RuffTRACK, don't miss the high-performing agility dogs!

Last year saw almost eighteen thousand visitors to the Murrumbateman Recreation Ground, after a hiatus since 2019 and with wet weather off the radar this year, organisers hope for strong crowd numbers.
